Global Aviation Resource would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2014.
Well, it’s that time of year again, so we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and wish you all the best for Christmas and the new year.
2013 was the year in which we relaunched GAR with a whole new look (we’ve decided to do so again, shortly!) and changed the way we bring our content to you – and fortunately you all stayed with us. Actually, it must have worked as it’s been a bumper year for visitors to the site and some of the stats have, in all honesty, been nothing short of mind blowing. So much so that we have now moved GAR on to a new dedicated server which should help us avoid the traffic-related losses of service that we saw on numerous occasions this year. Huge thanks to our very own Gordon Jones who looked after the transfer for us – he managed to get it done so seamlessly that it was barely noticeable – well done Gord!
Next year already promises to be an extremely busy one and we’ll be celebrating the Red Arrows’ 50th anniversary, the F-16 and Hawk’s 40th birthdays, the 100th anniversary of the start of The Great War and plan to publish a comprehensive series of pieces to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day. There’ll be a lot more too, with all the aviation news, features and airshow coverage you’ve come to expect from us, here on GAR, in Global Aviation Magazine and via our internet radio show, Xtended.
Once again, thank you for all your support and feedback, and we’ll see you in 2014.
The GAR Team
