As we reported recently, 32 (The Royal) Squadron at RAF Northolt is in the process of putting an additional two BAe 146s into service. The first of these aircraft, ZE707, has already been deployed to its operational area and the second one, ZE708, will be deploying very soon.

A unique opportunity occurred on 23 April 2013; the chance to capture all the different types of aircraft operated by 32 (TR) Squadron together on their ramp, and GAR was privileged to be invited (at very short notice!) to witness the spectacle. As the 146 C3s are being deployed, this opportunity may not occur again for some considerable time, if at all.

The squadron currently operates two Agusta A109Es, six BAe 125 CC3s, two BAe 146 CC2s and two BAe 146 C3s, and an example of each was positioned on the ramp for a very brief period of time, providing a small window of opportunity to photograph them together.

GAR would like to thank OC Operations at RAF Northolt for providing this opportunity.
