GAR has evolved much since it’s inception in 2009, and as the site approaches its eighth year, it is evolving once again.
Global Aviation Resource is about to undergo it’s biggest change in personnel for many years, with a number of team members deciding to move on to pastures new.
Most notable among them are current Editor, Elliott Marsh, and also Huw Hopkins.
Elliott and Huw have both contributed a vast amount to GAR over the past few years and it goes without saying that we would like to thank them sincerely, and of course wish them the very best of luck as they leave to focus on other projects.
Departing simultaneously are some of our other contributors, namely Kieran, Shaun, Greg and Mike. We would also like to thank them for all their great efforts while part of the GAR team and wish them well for the future.
With Elliott’s departure from the site, Gareth Stringer will re-assume the role of Editor.
While this is undoubtedly a significant change to the make-up of the GAR team, everyone is determined that the site will continue to fulfil it’s stated aim of bringing you the very best in aviation features and imagery from across the globe, just as we have done these past few days with articles from locations as diverse as RAF Odiham, North Korea and Nellis AFB.
Thank you all for your continued support and feedback.
The GAR Team.
