An interesting visitor to Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport near Doncaster on the 23rd April was this United Arab Emirates Air Force C-17A Globemaster III, serial number ‘1226’, arriving from Istres, France.
The aircraft’s markings were covered over, reportedly due to this aircraft’s involvement in the recent French-led military operations in Mali. The aircraft stayed overnight before departing the following morning to Dubai.
