Everyone else is at it in the run up to Black Friday – so why not us? It’s the start of Black Aircraft Week on Global Aviation Resource.
There’s no special deals here though, no queueing up for items that will sell out in a nano-second or engaging in combat with other shoppers – just a week dedicated to aircraft painted black.
We’re going to start with perhaps the most famous one of all, Kelly Johnson’s legendary Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, seen here at RAF Mildenhall’s Air Fete in 1988.
