GAR revealed some exclusive imagery of the aircraft’s design back in January, and told the story behind it, so it is excellent to now see it for real.

We spoke to ‘Fyvie’ this morning, who told us:

“It is fantastic to see the aircraft out of the paint-shop, and we are all absolutely delighted with how it looks – we can’t wait to fly it and get started with the airshow season.”

Fyvie’s display work-up has now commenced, with practices taking place over RAF Linton on Ouse at 1500′. All is progressing well and he should be practising down at his display height of 500′ soon – weather permitting!

We’ll be visiting the Team soon – so look out for a feature on this year’s display – and more imagery.

GAR would like to thank Fyvie, Kirbs and Wardy for the imagery. To keep right up to date with the Tucano Display Team, please visit their Facebook Group.
