Competition winners drawn at the Cotswold Airport.

I think it’s safe to say that the Cotswold Airshow 2011 is looking like it could be a cracker! Celebrating the 60th birthday of the legendary Hawker Hunter, the show will be dominated by the classic jets with which shows at Kemble are perhaps best known.

It’s early days in terms of exact participation but Glen confirmed that there will hopefully be a significant number of Hunters in attendance from the UK and beyond with details to be confirmed over the coming months. The airshow will also feature its usual mix of modern military aircraft alongside civilian performers of all genres and should provide, as it so often does, one of the early season highlights in the 2011 calendar.

Global Aviation Resource is delighted to confirm that it will once again be producing the official programme for the show and, with the Hunter’s birthday as a central theme, is already planning to make this a souvenir which everyone will want to take home from the event, packed full of features, interviews and imagery.

The Cotswold Airshow 2011 takes place on June 18th and 19th so make sure you’ve cleared the diary and look out for further announcements and ticket details on www.cotswoldairshow.com.

So, on to the competition winners, very kindly drawn out of a cardboard box (no one had a hat!) by Glen himself.

Each of the winner’s will receive an email in due course requesting their postal address for Eurofighter goodies and details of how they can claim their DVD courtesy of our partners at PlanesTV.

The winners are:

Darren Rumsey (who also wins a pair of complimentary tickets to the show courtesy of Glen!), Rob Edgcumbe, John Rowe, Simon Williams, Dave Griffiths, Dean West, Michael Hind, Alex McKenzie, Gavin Weaver, Connor Womble and Rich Hale.

Well done all! We received heaps of entries and, as ever, are extremely grateful for all your support.
