About Global Aviation Resource

Elliott Marsh - Staff Photographer & Writer Born in 1988 into a family of aviation enthusiasts, it was no surprise that Elliott developed a keen interest in aviation at a young age. Elliott attended his first airshow in the early 1990s, and was a regular visitor to events at Duxford, North Weald, Mildenhall, Biggin Hill and others throughout his childhood. He fondly remembers holiday spent in East Anglia and Kent, where he would often see formations of F-111s, A-10s and F-16s in the overhead.

Elliott's passion for aircraft has only ever grown over the years. Indeed, in 2010, Elliott plans to attend upwards of thirty airshows in the United Kingdom and Europe. Whilst he maintains a broad interest in every aspect of aviation, Elliott's strongest passion lies with historic aviation, having been inspired at a young age by names like Ray and Mark Hanna, Stephen Grey and Hoof Proudfoot.
His desire to capture some of the wonderful sights on the airshow circuit led him to join the world of digital photography in 2006, and he purchased his first DSLR in 2008. Elliott currently uses Canon EOS-1D Mark II and EOS-50D bodies, alongside Canon 400mm L prime, 70-200mm f/4L and 17-85mm lenses.
